They offer repairs, but not on cracked canvas. Other areas of the bag where the canvas isn't cracked can absolutely be repaired.

I heard if you have the original canvas Artsy, that LV will actually give you a brand new Artsy (with the vachetta trim on the top) for free. They will do it for the Artsy that has the cracks at the opening. I do not know anyone personally that has taken theirs in but heard that some youtubers have. Hopefully this is true and that LV is still providing this service. It's worth checking into.
Oh wow. Sorry to see this. I never had this happen. I'm not sure where you live but in Costa Mesa CA there is a LV Atelier shop. You can take your bag there and they may be able to fix it there vs shipping it out for repair. Perhaps you can ask your SA or call LV customer service to see if there is a LV Atelier near you.
