I have both in WG, and no doubt in my mind, the Frivole WG pave pops far more. The Frivole design is 3D, therefore the diamonds are set at various angles. Because of that, the fire that the diamonds produce is amazing. This is especially true against WG as all you see are sparkly diamonds, no color metal to distract the eye. By contrast, the Lotus earrings are very flat in the design. I actually do not like them. I was not going to buy them, but I am very matchy matchy like you. Hence, I only bought the Lotus earrings to match my Lotus ring.
The Lotus earrings look like any other "diamond flower" earring you see everywhere from other vendors, nothing special, at least not to me. With Frivole, the 3D heart-shaped petals, angled design, as if the flower is opening, is a work of art. You never see this design replicated entirely. Not to mention, the sparkly is crazy, far more than Lotus.
As for you wanting people to notice you're wearing something expensive & blingy, from my experience, that would be Frivole hands down. I get complimented on my Frivole set often. People love the Frivole ring and earrings. Some will say the design is so gorgeous, while others will say the sparkle is amazing.
I wear both my Frivole and Lotus sets casual and dressy... with shorts as as well as dressed up.
If I could only have one collection, it would be Frivole WG pave, no doubt in my mind. It's super blingy and goes with eveything.
