I second this post. Get insurance for your loves. I personally insure anything that costs me around 3k or more for peace of mind.
To add to this with winter coming, make sure to be careful when you remove your winter gloves at work, store, etc… in case the ring gets stuck in glove but falls out while storing them in purse/ car etc.Not sure if this is the case where you are, but with winter coming on in the northern hemisphere, I've sure noticed my rings are looser. Hoping you find it!
