Lost my E ring! Need ring ideas

My heart goes out to you -- I know I would feel absolutely sick if I lost my e-ring or wedding ring. Your DH has been pretty wonderful from the sound of it. I agree that you should wait to replace the ring -- both so you can lose the weight you're in the process of losing, so you don't have to worry about sizing, and so you dont act in haste and end up regretting your decision.
Strangely, I have thought about what I would get if my rings were lost or stolen, and I have always loved the Jean Schlumberger 16 Stone ring sold at Tiffany's. Just to give you more food for thought.

I'm so sorry!!! How upsetting! As far as a new ring, since you're still losing weight maybe hold off on a big purchase until you're sure of your size? Take your time deciding what you'd like to get, you don't want to make a hasty decision and regret it! Personally, I'm all for a solitaire and eternity band. Until you replace your e ring, a Love ring with diamonds would be beautiful, just be sure you can wear it on a different finger if your size changes.
Probably bec not all metal detectors are designed for this type of metal, or strong enough to detect the small amount of metal since stones are set. They are more likely to pik up the alloys over the previous metal but even that isn't always enough.
