Hello everyone,
I recently purchased my first Loro Piana items via one of their retailers (on sale). I'm very happy with them but I have not started wearing them yet, something surprised me. I expected an overall supreme quality from such an expensive designer, I mean, including the tags. I think that the quality and "feel" of the tag on the inside (laundry information etc) does not necessarily match that of the shirt. Is it just me (are my expectations too high)?
Thanks in advance

So this is normal for the designer? They make very high quality clothing, that's for sure, I was just surprised.

I don't have any new. The last time I went in was before LVMH bought it (2013) and I was looking at ostrich pouches and alligator boots. The family now only own 15% and LP doesn't even do the nice blankets anymore.

I can’t say it’s something I’ve ever considered since I tend to snip them off first thing.

Do you have the tags still attached to the neck/back? If yes, can you photograph these?

I have purchased my Loro Piana in their US stores (non-outlet).
Here are a few examples of my care tags. I'll agree they are not "luxury" per se, but I don't cut them out.

Anyone have thoughts on the 'Cocooning Collection'? I've fallen hard for the ad campaign despite really not needing anything from the collection haha. The ribbed knit aircash crewneck has a hold on my soul right now. And all the socks and slippers *siiiiigh*:love:

Love the ad campaign. But, I’m short and a bit chunky, so I will admire from afar :)

I’ve been obsessing over these items and they’re not available in my country so I’m anxiously waiting to check them out in Korea. I saw LA and some other large stores have big cocooning pop-ups
