While I don’t own this particular bag (yet!), I’ve used wax paper to make zippers more smooth. Same concept as the candle, but easier to use and less mess. I actually picked up this tip from another tPF thread!

i just recently bought a black with gold metal L19 from Winners (TJX)in Canada. Everything seems good, but I have question on the strap. Would the strap be 6 holes or 7 holes? The bag I bought didn’t come with original dust bag and without any tag.
Hello, do you mind to tell me how many holes of the strap and a pic of inside stamp? I would like to check mine whether it's authentic or not. Thanks.

I am thinking that bag may not be authentic. No original dust bag and the strap only has 6 holes instead of 7 holes. For those who have this bag, does the strap gold hardware have L|P logo? I am attaching some photos of my bag here.

Is LP also using Hermes kelly birkin tactic ... scarcity mindset?
I don't even use my Birkin 32 anymore coz it is heavy and just over it. It is collecting dust and I plan to paint over it soon.
Anyway, reading all the comments it seems like some people can just go and buy LP bags as walk ins as long as it is instock or do they give you the pre qualify when you go to the store like Hermes??? Just Curious!
My experience with LP US or European stores are the same - I call the store ask the item I want whether it is shoes, bag or clothing in my size. If they say they have it, I ask the persons name on the phone then I show up at the store to buy. Then I leave as fast as I can ,hahaha.
I don't really like to loiter at the store although occasionally, I would visit the store only when I have not had a chance to browse their website. I found the latter uncomfortable coz I feel like they are watching me. Which is why I like online shopping so I won't have to deal with anyone.
Oh btw, I got the L19 cotton linen in Spain last month and it is a beauty.

I’m located in Toronto, Ontario and it seems that we’re finally getting standalone stores at Yorkdale Mall and Bloor st. Any insight on opening dates? Do you think it’ll be difficult to purchase a L19 with no previous purchase history?
Alternatively, has anyone had any luck purchasing the L19 on the Canadian website? It seems to always be unavailable but I haven’t been stalking it religiously.

Today, I got another L19 denim newest collection. I was hoping for cotton silk bec I like gold hardware better but then I ended up buying it even if it wasn't my initial choice due to the hardware being silver. I thought I could match it with other summer walks with silver charms.
They only carry 1 bag to be sold and 1 for display only ... Strange but perhaps to create a frenzy? I thought maybe it was meant for me coz what are the odds of getting one just randomly passing by? I also got a chambray cotton cashmere shirt to match. They also got 1 ostrich bag.. Seems like they want to push ostrich a lot?
Although it is inevitable to see them all over, still I don't like just seeing them everywhere all the time. I do see the leather ones a lot.
Oh, I got it in Barcelona this time ... the cotton linen L19 was in Madrid. I bought my open walk chukka boots with the beaver fur there last summer too and it is very warm/comfy for Autumn and Winter.
Rome is another beast, I felt like the store was empty in mid Sept. I was told new collections has not arrive yet.
Last Spring in Washington DC, I saw a lot of summer walks when I bought some silk cashmere shirt. I am going there end of Sept. I will update you ladies if I see some LP that you might like ...

Yorkdale opens next week (Oct 7th) but I heard the Bloor one is opening slightly later. I'm not sure if it'll be similar to the Hermes game but when I went to their Madison boutique a few months ago, they had one exotic L19 in stock and mentioned it was rare for that to even be in stock. Guess we'll find out more when the store opens next week!
Has anyone had luck finding a L19 lately? I'm rather late to the party and have tried two stores Italy, while I was traveling, and have placed myself on a list here at home.
Oh I would’ve loved to get offered that color! I have the black one but would have preferred a pastel color.
