I just responded to your other thread. Yes return it and wait for another. This flap obviously dips down on the right unevenly, I wouldn't accept that. You'll be able to find another one soon.

Do you have some time until you can return? Sometimes, the leather needs to settle after being smushed in a box. See what it looks like after a few days.

I do have 15 days, but I am too impatient to wait to use it. It’s been out of the box and how they store it for a full 24 hours now and it looks perfect right now. I hope it stays that way. My worry is if I open and close it when I go into the bag over time it might go back.

It’ll be fine imo. Stuffing and storing can affect it but if it ok now it’ll be fine.

It’s a Chanel quality issue. I have a pink flap from last year that had a lopsided flap straight from the boutique. And all of the ones I saw with resellers for that shade were also slightly lopsided

So I bought a seasonal mini flap bag in Europe in April 2023 and kept it in the box (since I was saving it to use when I get a promotion). Now I am ready to use it but I’m in the U.S. and I noticed that the flap is kind of crooked and quilts are a little misaligned. Do you suggest I go to the boutique and ask them to repair this new bag/will they think I’m too picky if I do this? Will there be an issue since I’m in the U.S. now and bought this in Europe initially? Or should I just try to buy another mini bag and then sell this other one? Thanks and happy new year!

After mine has been out of the box and my husband moved the flap to where it needed to be it’s a perfect!! No issues of it going back. It’s becuase when they stored it they tucked the chain all under the right side making that cause it, and since mine is lambskin it took to that shape fast. I have been opening closing it using it and so far it’s amazing!
