I travel a lot for work and need a chic bag that can withstand flying on airplanes and being shoved under the seat that is also large enough to fit my 13” laptop. I am considering the Saint Laurent Sac De jour, Fendi 2jour, and the Senreve Maestra bag. I am a big fashion girl so I love established designer labels. I would love your recommendations!

Check out the Prada Saffiano Lux Tote or, if you need more security, Saffiano Lux Double-Zip Tote. The leather is quite durable and they come it lots of different colors and a few of the larger sizes will fit a 13" laptop. Not all sizes come with a shoulder strap, though. Here's a thread that might be of use if you like the design.
