You all are not going to believe this but I just spoke with some one at a TF store and they have a sell going on and the exact bag that looks like the Hermes Bolide is on sale for $1775 black or brown pm if you want his info. What a sale price

That is an amazing price! Bluefly is currently $2845, so I hope anyone who loves this bag calls the boutique and gets it at their sale price

So.............. thanks to a very helpful fellow TPFer - Virginiamb- I met the most helpful Tom Ford SA ever and bought this beautiful bag in white for a steal....and the matching wallet ( on right) for less than $500. So happy! will post my own pics when both arrive. First time I have ever had the same style bag in 2 different colors

I am excited for you. The SA sent me lots of pics off bags and wallets on sale.!! If interested just let me know. I wish I could figure out how to transfer pics from phone on to here. They really have some deals
What a great bag cocobean! You're very lucky to have two of these lovelies. I love the Bolide, so this bag is appeals to me - unfortunately TF cannot be found anywhere in The Netherlands...

My white bag and wallet arrived today, beautifully packaged and as wonderful as expected. Wanted to share a pic of the white and black bag together. The leather on the white bag is a perfect shade of white, the SA described it as chalk white. Not a bright white, but not an ivory with yellow undertones either. Just a nice soft white. The leather is a slightly different texture from the black bag, but that could be because the white is still store fresh. Not sure if TF uses different leathers like Hermes does, but this bag, like the black, feels to me to have the same quality as an H bag. Both bags are the same size, the black has a little less stuffing and the leather has taken on the perfect amount of slouch (IMO) that shows it is supple but can keep the shape of the bag.

The leather feels wonderful and the bag is not heavy. Definitely not made of the thinner leathers seen on some higher end bag lines that lately seem to be scrimping on the quality of materials. And not so weighed down with hardware that the bag is uncomfortable to carry. I can fit the black bag over my shoulder and have no problem carrying it filled with my daily stuff. I do tend to carry a lot in my everyday bags so I am very critical of bags that, even though they look nice, don't feel good to carry. After handling all three of my Tom Ford pieces, I am still thinking the brand is very much in line with Hermes in terms of quality, workmanship and design.
