Not the AP, but I am looking for a watch to wear daily. I am fine with a diamond bezel if I don't find it to be over the top.

More mid-range then high end, but Longines has some nice watches
I totally agree! Longines is very underrated and has a long history, and great everyday options. I love the new Spirit champagne dial, but also more feminine/classy options like the Dolce Vita and Evidenza.
Another Longines fan here. My daily watch is this automatic (model L2.409.4.97.6), and I'm crazy about it. It goes with me to the gym, on hikes, and to the office. I also have the DolceVita with the red leather strap for more formal events. Their quality, design, and finishing is comparable to Omega, but they are about half the price because they don't spend as much on advertising.
I am going to put in a plug for the Omega Aqua Terra line. More readily available than a Rolex, but still excellent quality. The Tudor suggestion is excellent as well, we gifted the BB58 to my son for his college graduation and it's a fantastic watch for everyday wear.
I'd say Omega as well but the De Ville line, it's a bit cheaper than the Aqua Terras but still great quality. I have one with a mother of pearl dial that I wear daily and to special events since it's got diamonds on the face.
I second this. LOVE my Rolex in any situation.
To wear everyday, perhaps consider an Apple Watch Ultra? (Hopefully I don't get bashed in this thread). It looks quite nice and clean with the white band, and a daily driver watch/break from the AP
