Longchamp: Will the Le Pliage go out of fashion soon? What's a good alternative?

its a 'NEED' bag. i don't think it was ever 'in fashion'. to me, it just got that popular bec many more have been discovering its strength & versatility!

I honestly don't think Le Pliage will go out of fashion soon. I too have seen them carried around on various university campuses across the U.S. for the past 10 years (yep, from undergrad to grad school and now in med school). They're great light-weight bags for school and travel.

Hi, I have a Longchamp Pliage which measures 13''wx13''h'x7.5''d with a 10'' shoulder drop that I currently use when I'm not lugging around my old Jansport backpack for my textbooks. The Longchamp bag is indeed a functional bag as others have mentioned and also subtly elegant without screaming 'designer bag'! Great bag for inclement weather too.
