i saw VELO in Sang, Sorbet, Outremer yesterday, they are in HK$12,000 about 1538US

The size is pretty cool, the long strap can be adjust and wearing them under ur arms ... i really can't stop thinking of it and planning to get a Velo as my 2nd Bal, i do agree the Outremer is striking, but sadly that's the color of "death" and "mouring" in the Chinese culture, Sorbet is cute n very Japanese, maybe i'll get myself a Sang ...

In Chinese culture, such blue is not the meaning of "death" and "mouring"!
You can find such blue is so common in many Chinese Buddhist temples even the Forbidden City, that blue is so common to print on the wooden board and people use the golden color to write something as the best wishes or the name of the temple on the blue board.
I think you are misunderstanding something of the culture.
And Sobet is pink ~Why did you say pink is so Japanses?? I don't like such words to discribe any country's culture.Pink is cute!!NOT JAPANESE!!!!

In Chinses culture, white is the meaning of"death", but we are still wearing white T-shirt~

I went to the Buddhist temple in my city, I found such blue is so beautiful with gold characters. So I really want to get a outremer wigh GGH.

In Anglo Saxon, black is thought of as death but we all still wear black. I don't think any color should be considered taboo because of something that it represents from one culture to another because it is just a color.

I think the Velo is more "flat" and not has thick as the Midday. The top openings are different too, plus the Velo has a strap.

Can't wait to get my hands on this baby.

Agree with this. We wear black all the time. I wear black nearly everyday because I love the color (it hides the fat, lol), not because I'm in mourning. Not even close.
