London position 2010: lists or no lists?

I think not having the podium list days may make it harder for the average Joe Blog who lives in the UK to get a Birkin unless as Ms Birkin mentioned you have a relationship with a SA or get really lucky as a walk in. Perhaps the stock of Birkins would now only be offered to favoured clients spending money in stores on other merchandise, whereas with the previous system it was still possible to have your name confirmed against a podium order.

I just called London Hermes, they don't accept any orders right now.

I agree Syma. With the previous system, anyone could have a chance to get a birkin/kelly as long as they were able to be in shop on the particular time. Now, bags will probably be given first pass to known clients then sold on the shopfloor.
