Loctite and Opening New Screw System Love

You could try hitting it with a hairdryer for a little bit and then unscrewing. I've had to do this before with loctite on other objects, and it worked well.

Soaked screws with some PB blaster and used a more heavy duty and better fitting screwdriver and It loosened right up.....try that.

Have you seen the thin Love in person? You won't have to worry about the screws, and it would stack beautifully with your current Love.

I have a question of my own. I am thinking about getting the 10 diamond Love sometime this year to stack with my regular Love. And I am wondering if I should use purple or maybe go with blue (medium) loctite?

Hi Lux:

I use the BLUE Loctite on both my 4 diamond Love and 6 diamond Love classics. Looks like we both got a good tip by @avcbob!

As I like to research everything, I thought no better way to find out the right answers than to call Loctite so I got the scoop straight from the horse's mouth(!) and would use either 242 or 243 for BLUE Loctite if purple doesn't do the trick.

I agree with @Lux. I would not use that blue super glue, not a threadlocker.

I have had to use purple loctite on my love bracelet but every couple of months it loosens again. I just used blue for the first time. Any thoughts on blue loctite and has anyone that used it have any issues taking your love off?

The SA at the store mentioned they do an enhancement now where they add a little bit of gold to the screws and it shouldn’t loosen instead of applying picture. I just got mine back and the screw hasn’t loosened so far. You might want to check with the store on that.

I have a few friends that had that done and still ended up having to use Loctite. I wear my love 24/7 so I want to make sure it is completely secure
