Has anyone tried to remove the lockme bb long strap yet. Good God...it was so hard to do! I was afraid I would damage the bag. I can see why people tuck it inside. Removing it is a hassle. I wonder if there's a trick to it?

I had to put mine on which was hard but I saw the hole and figured out that you need to pull it down a bit and then pull it over the metal circle piece. You can first get the leather tab over the whole metal/strap - this gives you more to work with. I think the leather is just stiffer when new.

Hi there,

I tried the Lockme II BB in the boutique and the SA also had a hard time when attaching the strap for me to try it on...
Another SA helped her to attach it finally. I did not see how they re-attached it later..

Probably, it will get easier after a while once the leather has softened.
I really like the design and am also thinking about getting it, but I purchased already her "big sis" the Lockme II, so I need a pause and am on ban island ;-)

Your bags are beautiful!!!! I would like to know if the larger bag was used as an everyday bag, would the bottom start to sag. I generally change my bags every 3-4 months. I carry large bags, but do not carry too much in them. I carry a wallet, coin purse, sm cosmetic bag, medium agenda, keys. and might toss my sunglasses in but not in the case. I know I will have to check it out at the boutique, but just wanted to get your thoughts. The Locke me mm is very saggy so does the Locke me II have more structure? It would be nice if one of those base shapers fit the bag. Thank you for your time.

Hi. Is the ballerina color hard to wear? Are the color transfer? I like to have something I can wear through the rain. Is it very high maintenance got this bag? Thanks

Great questions...I actually exchanged the Lockme II BB in Rose Ballerine for the Cluny BB in RB. The Cluny was my first love and as soon as it was restocked, I was able to get my hands on one. The color is very easy to wear with a variety of outfits and colors. I treat it like a nude color and wear it with anything I would carry a neutral handbag with. I never carried the Lockme but I was very concerned about color transfer with this leather. I do think it would be high maintenance though. Not too much concerned w/issues w/epi leather on the Cluny. Good luck deciding!
