I'm gonna agree with that one. I have a rehabbed vintage one ... or perhaps I should say, I "had" a vintage one. I gave it to daughter because it's too small even for what little I usually carry. (And if I may be so bold, that's really saying something, considering I *do* use my small Zoes, small heritage stripe tophandle, swing pack, vintage basic bags, and small Leah *all* as "everyday" bags. I'm one of those people who always sticks to small or medium bags .... most vintage bags, often considered too small by others, are actually perfect size for me. ----- But not that one. That one's too small even for me.)

(Just wanted to back-up Gypsycruiser on this. She's not exaggerating)
.

Thanks for the support! :smile1: We purse-a-holics got to stick together,:smile1:

Thanks, gypsy.

Yeah, I kind of thought it might be TOO small. I mostly like the color!!

So...how's our Willis doing??!!! I'm wearing mine (ours) today. Ran the strap through one of the loops to double it and wear as a shoulder bag. Also tied my Legacy ponytail scarf around doubled strap to keep the straps together.

Did you get another one yet??

Im butting in here to add that i too LOVE that color, and have had my eye on it since it came out. I think it would be a great "grab and go bag" maybe not an everyday bag, but a beautiful bag to carry on "light" days ;)
Grab an ID wallet, lipstick, and cellphone and your good to go!

I have an early version of this bag - mine has a built in kisslock change purse on the back wall and it has an inside pocket on the front of the bag under the flap that is divided into two pockets. It also has the two thinner straps - I also have it in gray and navy blue. I think the built in change purse and the divided pocket makes it easier to use without a wallet. Am not sure when I bought it will look and see what the creed says when I get home.

I promised in another thread (one of the many Willis threads) to post a pic of my lime Satchel because someone wanted to see the color IRL, but then I got flattened by a flu bug last Thursday and was out of commission all weekend.
I can still post a pic of my Lime Satchel (w/ contents to show the capacity) if anyone wants, but it sounds like folks are already decisive that they think it's too small, so I guess I won't unless someone asks...

I'm asking!!! Please post pics!!!!

Sorry for the delay....flu bug has still got me in its clutches. I thought I was over it, but woke up this morning with another fever--Argh!
Anyway, here's the lime satchel. As you can see, haven't removed tags yet. I'm 95% sure I'm keeping her, but want to keep my option open, just in case.

I have put in it a large Madison Wristlet full of my makeup (which I'll admit is a stretch, I have to put it in end-by-end to make it fit)- a smaller wristlet would be more appropriate for this bag, my phone, gum, pencil case, card case, wallet, glasses case and keys. It's definitely on the smaller side, made worse I think by the narrow top opening (exactly as the LV speedys are).... And I did feel the leather, and as others have said, it does feel thinner than my 'vintage-ish' Coach leather classics are, but not cheaply thin or anything, just more lightweight I would say (as Coach does too!).

Thanks for posting CA-Anonymous!!! She's cute and classic!!!! I hope you feel better soon!!!

Thanks...just found out this thing has been going around my office....so at least I'm not the only one in misery (oh yea, also gave it to DH, he's none too happy with me).

Thanks for posting CA-Anonymous!!! This Helps a lot. I cannot deal with narrow opening bags. I will pass, but your pic helped a lot.

No problem....I hear you on the narrow opening bags, that's why I only have a couple LV Speedys, for this very reason.
