Lilysilk - Experiences?

I have several of Equipment blouses in solid and prints which I wear regularly to work and they still look brand new after many years of regular wear. I saw several people on YouTube talking about them and decided to try one of their silk blouses since they were much cheaper than Equipment blouses. But the fabric was flimsy and wrinkled easily. Never believing any of the Youtubers ever again! I have so many makeup and fashion duds after buying what they recommended.

They arrived, however I am sending them back. The size was too big (two sizes, even though I selected Small FR34-36 which is my size) and the blouses themselves had no design in my opinion. It's like pieces of silk stitched together, no craftsmanship.
The silk quality was good though

Hi ladies,

@phaedrana and @bobolo and anybody else who has experience with the buying process and/or sizing of Lilysilk and could kindly share it ...

I’d like to ask how the returns process went with Lilysilk?

I’ve bought only one thing, a silk stretch mesh layering top before, and I ordered via Amazon and didn't need to return anyway (basic item, decent quality, not much to go wrong, does the job).

Now I’m looking for some very simple silk slip dresses to wear as nightdresses, which don’t have to have any particularly special cut, and I think will probably be fine as long as the size is ok. I don’t know if I can extrapolate from the top I have regarding the size as they’re such different things. Also not at all sure about the sizing, given what has been observed in this thread, So I think it’s quite possible I’d have to return something. Colours/sizes are not available via Amazon, or at least it’s confusing there and looks clearer on the website, so I think it’ll have to be the website. Website says free delivery and returns to the UK. Can anybody tell me, do they honour this fully and promptly, and also keep you updated and ship promptly in the first place?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Tips about sizing of their slip dresses also gratefully received!

As an interior designer, I've purchased several comforters from Lilysilk for clients, and for my own home. I really have to say, they are the best comforters I've ever bought. No one likes a comforter that is too hot. Who wants to sweat in their bed? Lilysilk is so much nicer than even the finest down comforters I've specified on jobs. They breathe well, and come in a variety of weights and price points for the consumer. I hightly recommend them. I've also had interactions with their customer service people and have found them courteous and professional, and willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. I'm a fan.

Did you create an account just to post this? Because that's what it looks like right now.

I have actually bought from them several times, i have 4 shirts, a blazer, and their pillowcases and I have to say I am impressed with the quality. Do not go there for tailored pieces, they are more relaxed and flowy, but the quality of the silk fabric is great and the customer service is very good as well.

The pillow cases are seriously fantastic, have held up great with machine washing (in mesh bag, on hand wash setting). I suggest giving them a try - i know they are pushed like crazy, but honestly, it is good stuff.

thats good to know, thanks for sharing.

i stuck to pillowcases based on the previous feedback here. Just got my order today and they feel decent.

i ordered the sleeping mask as well and it feels soooo plush

Look at the social media forum before purchasing.

They are very strong on pushing their products through influencers that have been gifted them. I saw one influencer gave hers to her mother.

There are so many good silk PJs, pillow slips etc out there.

I ordered and returned some tops. They were too tight around shoulders, I would be scared to move that I would rip them. When sending the return you have to physically mark it as sent in your profile and provide the tracking information - this is not like anything I've experienced before. Normally you'd start the return process and the company would refund you when they receive the items.

It was a sign-for parcel and I put the return print-out in the packaging. So you would expect it would be quick and easy.
I checked the items were received the next day, so I disposed of my tracking number, expecting the usual return process.

Well, no. I contacted customer service saying that it was received in their warehouse but I no longer have the tracking number. They said the warehouse is busy at this time of the year (it was right before Christmas) so the return can take a bit longer. The same CS person kept asking me for tracking information like a bot. I already said I do not have it anymore.

I wrote a 1 star review on Trust Pilot telling my story. The company replied that someone will get in touch with me. Nobody did.
I never got my money back.

What company asks for your tracking information when you send a return? What company doesn't automatically process a return when they receive the items? It seems like they just throw it all on one pile and forget about it.

So, I'm a good writer, and a appreciative customer. Hope you check them out. I'd like to see them stay in business. I can't claim to know anything about their clothing but I am a fan of the bedding, for sure.

If anyone is looking for really great quality silk PJs and don't mind the hefty price tag, I highly recommend the brand Christine. Apparently Oprah and Jane Fonda are fans. I love mine. They wrinkle up when you sleep in them, of course being silk, but the quality is amazing and they're made in Canada.
