for me, I just don't like women who want to look like a barbie and/or blow up doll. I don't understand it and I think they look ridiculous.
As for her degree, she obviously earned that, she's good at what she does. You don't have to be super intelligent to earn a law degree, you just have to study hard. Intelligence in one area doesn't mean you`re smart in general. We all know educated or successful people who will do and say the dumbest things that make one wonder if they neglected the other parts in their brain and just put all focus on their area of expertise.

I always say there's a difference in being intelligent by nature and collecting knowledge...

This. That is what I meant. Having a degree doesn't even mean you're book smart. It just means you received an education and you rote-learned some things to pass standardized exams that are often not indicative of your IQ/professional knowledge/experience and so forth.

True. Some people feel that wearing too much makeup is a sign of insecurity. I think insecurity is a reason why some women vehemently want other women to wear less makeup, dress more conservatively and be "natural". I prefer to dress conservatively myself, but I can appreciate the whole "glam" look that goes on in LA. Not everyone wants to be a plain Jane, especially if glam is what you grew up around. I just watched the show for a 2nd time and it seemed like all of the girls on there had some dark a** eye makeup on, not just Lilly.

I love me some smoky eyes on a regular basis. Her makeup is clownish though, all those layers and layers of foundation and blush a la Kim K...

I doubt they are dimwits. Most of the dimwits I know flunk out and have no motivation to do the work even if their parents are paying for it. Just bc she speaks like a dummy and dresses like a skank doesn't mean she isn't book smart. She also graduated at the top of her class--she wasn't just skating through school. She put in work. Idk why anyone would be dismissive of that.

Trust me, these fools I knew had neither book smarts nor street smarts. Our faculty just wanted the money

I have nothing against this chick. I've never even heard of her until reading this thread. I don't doubt she isn't intelligent, she has a law degree. It's not easy to get that. It takes a lot of work and determination. I respect her for that. I just think she looks ridiculous. Her look is too 'jersey shore-eque' for me. I cannot stand the over the top jersey shore look so many chicks go for these days. It's not cute. It's possible to look 'glamorous' without looking...like that. JMO.

I think she's very pretty and probably is still gorgeous without makeup. That being said, as far as otherworldly beauty, I think many women have her beat with their natural beauty. Off the top of my head, Rachel Weisz, Marion Cotillard, Monica Belluci.

I definitely think shes prettier than Kim though, so she's probably achieved her goals in that regard haha.

I've been reading her blog since this past summer and overall like her. I was happy to hear she going the SoS cast. But her makeup and hair is just over the top in my opinion. She's a beautiful girl without all the makeup but to each their own when it comes to personal style.

Like one poster said she does mention that she only gets glammed up for shots, events, etc. I wish she blogged regularly about her day to day life as well. Because though she says she's not fully done up everyday, she always blogs when she is.

I can assure you plenty if dimwits/morons/dirt bags are licensed attorneys. I can name names. LOL

She seems awfully savvy to have a swimwear line and made it onto this show. She might not be the next Madeleine Albright, but that's not why I'm watching Bravo TV to begin with, quite frankly.

;-)

I am a school teacher and wear khaki pants and polos (because it is easiest and most comfortable) all week, along with my workout clothes. On the rare occasion I get to go out or to an event, I absolutely LOVE getting glammed up! My boyfriend gets so annoyed and complains. He says he loves my natural beauty but it's my time to be creative and play with my makeup and different looks. He will never understand that most women (NOT ALL) dress for other women. Refer to my quotes below LOL

I only knew of her from Jennifer Stano's blog and didnt think much of her. But when I watched the show, her voice seemed kind of ditzy. It's nice she has a law degree, it's not hard to get one to be honest. As long as you study then you're fine.

I think it's harder being a successful lawyer than just finishing law school! And I do think her body is natural, some people are really just genetically skinny. Just kinda sucks how there's girls who look up to her and wants to be as skinny as her:(

Oh! I read on Jennifer Stano's blog and saw photos that both her and Lily actually wear gym clothes if they don't need to dress up

Maybe going back further on her blog she has but I can only think of one time seeing her in normal/gym clothes recently and it was the post of her saying she mostly wears gym clothes.

Jennifer seems to be the more relaxed of the two. Lilly doesn't seem comfortable taking/posting pics of herself when she's not made up. Jennifer posts many pics of her sans makeup, hair, heels, etc. I love her casual looks.

I think it's because their blogs are different? Jennifer's always said in the beginning she lives the celebrity life but isn't a celebrity and she wants to share her secrets with us. But Lily is more showing the glam life and what it's like being dolled up? I noticed Jennifer does more mirror photos, make up routines, and tells us what she eats, while Lily just shows us her make up when she's dolled up.

where did she go for law school? or undergrad?

She attended the Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. She furthered her formal education at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she received her Juris Doctorate with honors (graduating *** Laude / Order of the Coif), and became a licensed Attorney in the State of California.

From her website.
