oh doll, so sorry about your disc issues...I carry cross bodies myself now due to shoulder issues....I adore my LV damier ebene eva, and my Tom Ford mini Jennifer for daily basis cross body bags. Also have tried on the balenciaga hip and think it would be great for your needs!!

Fendi By The Way is great, wide strap, zipped closure, lightweight, and discreet, the grande size fits a ton but not bulky. or hermes evelyne

I finally felt up to swinging by Neiman's today (had a steroid epidural procedure in my neck disc last week) & tried on the Bal Town & i absolutely LOVE it!! It is smallish, but i put all my essentials in it and still had room to spare. It is really nice looking, feels perfect wearing it crossbody & hits perfectly on the hip. I think this is a winner, folks!

Can't say for sure, but it reminds me of the Prada Saffiano crossbody.
