Hi, I want to thank you all for your kind comments about my Tian pieces. I really feel so lucky to have them. I actually haven't used either piece yet! I just have them sitting out in my bedroom so I can keep looking at them. I feel this is such a beautiful collection and each piece is a mini work of art! I so enjoy this forum and appreciate the support and knowledge offered from all you great ladies and gents! Thank you

Beautiful! I don't think I've seen thus larger bag before ... Can you share some more details... Where did you get it, is it still available, price ..: I really love your pieces
Hello, I apologize for this late response, I just look at this post. I found this large size Tian padlock back at the Gucci boutique in my area. I tried it on for size and was able to see what I thought would fit in it. I then went to my SA in Saks Fifth Ave in the Gucci boutique and had him order it for me. They did not have any in the Saks boutique. I have noticed that even on the Gucci web site they don't have this size padlock. It measures 12 inches across and about 7 inches high. It also has a back pocket on the outside, it is very roomy for a medium sized shoulder bag. You could wear it as a crossbody but I feel the chain is just to short to fall properly. The price was 2100.00 USD. I also had the little zipper card case ordered through Saks. I'm not sure if this size is stil available, as I mentioned I didn't see it on the Gucci web site. I'm sure if you called customer service at Gucci they could track this beauty down for you. I hope this helped and again I am sorry to respond so late.

I did a separate thread on my Tian, but here's a photo of it to add to the collection here...taken while on holiday in Besançon, a lovely city in eastern France.

I just purchased this as my second piece from this collection. I went back and read your review on this bag. It was very helpful. Hope you are still enjoying this beauty and thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Thank you and enjoy your bag! Quick note: the strap wasn't quite long enough for me to wear comfortably as a cross-body bag (it hit my hip at an odd spot) but it was kind of long to just wear over my shoulder -- I prefer to wear shoulder bags up higher -- but I noticed the brown leather strap on my LV Trevi PM was almost identical in color to the Tian's brown strap. So I simply detached the Trevi strap and put it on the Tian. (I also detached the original Gucci strap.) Now it hangs in my shoulder bag "sweet spot".

Great idea Passerine. I actually haven't used this bag yet. As with my padlock Tian I have it out on display in my bedroom. I know it's crazy but I am almost afraid to use them. That's why it was reassuring to read your post about how the print is holding up on the bag. I also have read about the LV prints chipping and have seen many pictures of chipped pieces. For me these are very expensive items that I had to think long and hard about. I would feel awful if they were damaged from use. May I ask if you still feel the same about the print, as in it is holding up well with use? Thank you again for all your help.

PeterPan1, here's a photo with the Trevi strap attached -- I had to attach it to the rings on the handles because the Tian's strap rings on the side are too low. Maybe I'll find a charm to hang on one of those rings...as for your question, no, there has been absolutely no chipping or fading of the print and I've used the bag pretty regularly since I bought it in February.
