Oops I botched the name! I meant the Coach Bedford. Tried it on in the store and didn't pull the trigger when I had the chance, and I regret not having done so. The leather was nice, it was plush and not thin and pebbly like the Edie.

I took a look at the Bedford, and though it's really lovely, I mean really really pretty, there's slouch. It's a bit like Mulberry Effie; I LOVED that bag and I had a meltdown every time I had to quickly locate something in the bag and the bag itself was in the way. I have ADD so my bag has to be organized and I have to find everything easily. Otherwise it's going to be total mayhem.

Found a Tiger of Sweden hobo that I ordered. It's the Proclus and it looks like what I want and has a lot of potential! The bag itself is a bit Sangle-ish, as in similar dimensions, a wide base and a leather lining that might keep the bag in its shape. I'm not crazy about the handle (I LOVE the canvas strap that Sangle has!) but I can have it fixed/changed if the bag itself is as great as I hope for it to be.

I have a Givenchy GV Bucket Bag that you might like. The strap design makes her really versatile, and the construction is structured yet the leather has a nice drape to it. There’s no zipper but I do feel secure enough with the closure it has. I never fail to find anything, but depending on where the strap is set, accessing items is sometimes a little clumsy.

The Tiger of Sweden hobo came today. It's perfect, I think. It looks great and, after I put my stuff in it, I can tell you the things stay put and it's so easy to find them! The lining is leather and it's stiff enough, that means I don't think I have to worry about sag anytime soon.

I like the soft unstructured feel of a hobo but don't like one that's just a big hole where you can't find your stuff.

Thanks love Luckily it's just flu and I'm medicating it with medicinal honey and ZZ Top which will surely get me up in no time!
Since I'm feeling much better than yesterday, I got the bag out and took a photo.
Here she is, my 40th bday present from me to me.


The inside of the strap and the inside of the bag is the same dark navy colored leather. The clochette contains a key ring so it might find a use but it won't stay on the outside of my bag. We'll see.

My bday is in late March so I really should have the patience to let this wait for 6 weeks before taking it out. Somehow I'm not really sure that's going to happen.
