I'm doing a low-buy year. That means I'm allowed to buy one bag and I want that bag to be the most awesome, perfect hobo. I've sold and donated all my hobos because there was something wrong about all of them; too small a handle drop, too narrow bottom, badly fitted lining, saggy leather etc.
Now I'm looking for an all star, The One Hobo that rules them all.

My wishes for the bag:
I really love the Céline Sangle style, but I want the bag to have a zipper fastening. (Is there a dupe for the Sangle which has a zipper?)
The strap drop should be around 30-35 cm and the strap preferably would be 3-5 cm wide.
Width 30-40 cm, height 30-35cm, bottom width around 12 cm.
Color preferably navy or black.
Durable leather with maybe a little softness but not saggy.
Budget max 400 €.

Please tell me all about the bags you love and would mostly fit the criteria.
Oh and if you own a crazy gorgeous hobo of any style, feel free to post a pic!

I really like the Coach Edie 31. I’m thinking of getting one in black . There is a large middle Zipped section. Lots of pockets so great for keeping your items organised.
I love the navy color! I'm a total sucker for a nice dark blue. I took a look at this a few weeks back and I think the leather is a bit too soft - it looks like it's going to get much softer with age and I have a real problem with that. I don't know why. Most of my bags are structured, I think it's down to the fact that it's easier to find things in a bag that has more structure.

I have a tote with a large center zip pocket. I keep my wallet and any other security items in there. Then you have two open sections for your other stuff.

I'm the other way. I love soft leather. I bought a Coach Borough bag and sold it because it was too hard for me.

Perhaps you could try the Coach Borough? I personally am interested in the Lancel Huit, but at that price point I'll wait a bit!
I've actually had my time pondering on getting the Borough, but never pulled the trigger. It's probably because of the way the inside of the bag is. I love a bag that has a wide base and preferably in a single compartment.

Really like the Huit, Lancel makes such gorgeous bags and accessories!

Oops I botched the name! I meant the Coach Bedford. Tried it on in the store and didn't pull the trigger when I had the chance, and I regret not having done so. The leather was nice, it was plush and not thin and pebbly like the Edie.

Good luck with the hunt!

I saw a coach bag recently at nordstroms rack. It was almost the same as a Borough bag but slightly different....tag didn't give name. anyway it was black pebbled leather for $298....nice
