Let's share organizing tips.....

I tried to get all of my bags in the pic but it was impossible. My walk-in (more like stand-in, LOL) closet is a small 4'4"x7' but I make the most I can of it. I was squeezed in the corner to take the pic of the bags; I have 3 shelves of bags, all in dustbags or pillowcases. Only structured bags get stuffed. I like smooshy and don't mind wrinkle-y leather so I'll toss one on top of another.... I kinda know what's what.

YES, a collective GASP:amazed::amazed: for that Bleecker Weekender and Frye Logan Tote being on the closet FLOOR!!! Bad, bad purse person:nono:! ----Now a moment of silence for them:nogood:.

(Actually they are gone with me from Friday to Monday on one of my jobs so they don't sit on the floor all the time, they get lots of use! ---I usually keep them perpetually packed.)
LOL....you are too funny!

How do you know what is in each box? Love your animal prints!

Hi,

The boxes have been set up for around 6 months now, so I have just memorized what's in each one.
Mainly, I only go into the wallet & sunglasses box though.

I could label each box, but at this time there is just no need to.

Thank you.

What a great thread! I have everything up in dust bags at the top of my closet. It is not ideal at all because I am short and I *think* I know what is in each bag, but it never works out. Thanks for the great ideas ladies. I have been thinking of buying some additional shelving for my office to make things more accessible.

Thankfully dh & I each have our own walk-in closets in our bedroom so he has no clue what's happening in mine! My bags are all sitting in dust bags along my closet floor against the wall. I put labels on each bag so I know what's in there. I tried putting them on the top wrap around shelves in my closet, but I hated having to climb up on a stool to get anything down. The floor works bc it's pretty much the only unused space otherwise. Between my "American" clothes & my "ethnic" clothes (saris, etc), I'm spilling out into the closet in the guest room & in the nursery! 😁 I can't come up w/ a better bag solution, but at least w/ the labels I know exactly what's in there. Love your my little pony collection! I wish my mother had the amount you have to pass down to me.
I don't have a huge collection of purses but I just store them in dust bags on top of my closet or anywhere I can find space. Have to work on my organisational skills!

Thanks for the inspiration!!! And thankfully DH hasn't said anything about me turning our "office" into a walk-in closet :) we never use that desk anyway :)

Pretty purses!! I have also turned one of the guest bedrooms into a walk in closet :D we used to have a desk there that never used so I replaced it and put tall bookcases all over the place to hold my bags, shoes and sweaters..oh well, what was I supposed to do if my stuff doesn't fit in our walk-in, right??? :p Still not sure about taking pixs and attaching them to the bags, if I do it might be hard to "hide my new purses lol :graucho:
