I've been thinking about getting an envelope wallet and i have questions..

does the leather on this scratch easily? I'm not sure what the name of the leather is but it was very smooth and silky.. not pebbled. I'm worried that its going to really scratched up in my bag.

theres a dent in the front of the wallet because the wallets were displayed slightly on top of each other.. this is something that can't be smoothed out right?

how much was the envelope wallet on sale? if anyone here remembers.

thanks!!

I had the oxblood one above in a smooth mat leather and didn't like it looked like it would show marks easily

I paid $280 US. I do not find that it scratches easily, and I am always so pleased to have it in my hand because it is so buttery soft! I have an Oxblood NVT Bays and bought this to match. I am not particularly hard on my things, and have used it nearly every day since I bought it the third week of November. It fits an IPhone 6 or Plus, along with half a dozen cards and some cash. I do not really carry coins in it because I do not want to soil the fabric lining.

If it helps to enable you, I am otherwise not a long wallet person, for the previous five years I carried 3 cards and my license with cash and coins in a Prada zip around card case (smaller than a continental wallet or french purse, but bigger than a slip card case)-but this is so nice and flat, yet holds so much...If I had not made so many other purchases the past couple of months, I may have gone for a black one too!

The shadow on the postman's lock is from my black ipad cover.

elvisfan4life and morejunkny - thank you for your replies!

i really like the wallet and that oxblood color is beautiful! I'm glad you said that it doesn't scratch easily. I'm going to go take a look at it again to see how bad the mark is.

Mine is in my picture to the left - Black Glossy Goat. I love it mainly because when you open it up your money ( or lack of it in my case ) isnt visible to all around you. I like its slimness and because of that it doesnt encourage you to carry loads of uneccessary junk around. I like the hard wearing glossy goat. My first one was a Mulberry Pink one. Great colour but marked instantly. Spent most of one morning trying to track down my black one and finally found the last one in Brompton Road. It was meant to be :)
