the natural and blue and was agonizing over the other two. I will let you know! Lord knows, this is the place to come for a little encouragment...then the next thing you know....sliding down the slippery slope..
I saw the orange this evening and it does look exactly like the photo here- orange background with dark brown and purplish/magenta spots. The contrasting rolled hems are dark brown. I didn't want to like it but I found that I really did like the orange irl. Very pretty and unusual.
Spoke to a SA from SD boutique today. US H stores have orange, blue, and green. They can be sent btween boutiques for anyone in US who are interested. When asked if they will be getting more naturelle/brun/noir, they said they don't know.
Side note: SA was so rude! I bought a birkin and Kelly 2 weeks ago with him so he calledme today and asked if he can help me find anything. I was surprised so I said the first thing that came to my head: Fushia Ostrich Birkin. He then told me that it was store policy that a customer can only buy one birkin a year! Keep in mind I bought a Togo birkin and Vache Liegee Kelly. Why is he lying to me? He didn't know it but my Dh bought me two regular leather birkins just yesterday there! He stated that if I spend MORE money on RTW and Scarves, then maybe management willmake an exception! But he's the "Sales Supervisor"!!! WT Heck?!?!? I buy from 3 different boutiques and haven't been lied to like this before! Has anyone ever been treated like this or told this? I have spent alot of money there since they've been open! I buy RTW and Scarves and wallets and he (specifically) told me I need to buy more before I get to buy more than one birkin a year??!?

Wow, LeoLeila, I can't believe that - making up "policies" like that really takes some nerve. I know from others that the manager at SD came out from the Wall Street store - believe his name is Dennis. You may want to consider calling him and letting him know. This SA's behavior is completely out of bounds. I hope you won't stop shopping there at all though...can you "transfer" yourself to a different SA? I ended up in a situation where a friends' SA would sometimes claim me and sometimes not and I didn't enjoy working with her so I "transferred" myself to someone else and really enjoy working with her.
They do keep track of bag purchases at Hermes- esp. kelly and birkin so technically he was not lying. I think if you have a relationship with an SA, you can get around this rule. This rule goes back to when some of the big bag resellers on ebay were buying all of the high-demand shelf bags to resell and leaving none for regular customers. You do get more flies with honey- I find it better not to offend anyone, just be creative with getting around rules. Find another SA to work with.
How can he not be "technically" lying? The store sold her DH 2 Birkins the day before this SA called her to tell her that they do not do that. The fact that the stores track their customers' purchases doesn't change the fact that this SA told her an outright lie, IMO. And she never said that she confronted him on that lie so the saying "you do get more flies with honey" doesn't apply here. I think that since SD is relatively new, SAs will do anything to start a client base and yes, this includes lying. But that's just my opinion.
CC. You're right. When he told me the lie, I didn't say anything. Just played dumb and go "Oh, Really?" and said "Thank You" for calling me and was as pleasant as I ever am. Then I spoke to my DH and it turns out the SA who called me was the VERY SAME SA who sold the 2 Birkins to DH the day before! He also tried to sell DH a red lizard KP as well but DH was looking for a wallet for me instead and declined. BTW it was DH's first visit to the Boutique too!
This SA is relatively new in SD and maybe is under pressure to create a client base. He didn't realize that I'm a regular. I normally use a different SA who no longer works there. Maybe that's why he thought that since I bought from him last time that he was now my SA or something.
I don't even think he looked at my account history because he would have seen that I've purchased more than one birkin per year. He was trying to do anything to get me to buy more RTW which tells me that he's probably not meeting his sales quota! In this case: Desperation = lying.
But Anyhoo; I'm not going to report him. I don't want bad blood at this Boutique. I'm just going to call beforehand and only go there when he's not working there. And once I am more established with another SA again, I'll just tell him I'm with someone else.

ITA - the SA was lying about a policy that doesn't exist. There is nothing wrong with tracking sales - I am sure we are all in the computer - I know I am because I shop at more than one boutique and my info is already there. Suspect you are right that he is trying to get a client list built up. Oops...well, no harm done once you find someone else to switch over to! Good luck on the hunt for the second LeoLeila - they are fabulous.

It's always a bit tricky breaking in a new SA but ultimately worth the effort. My only difficulty right now is that the SA I'm trying to avoid is there like all the time! laugh. Don't worry, I will be sure to be vigilent!I know exactly what you mean - it was awkward for me at first to establish my relationship with the SA I wanted to work with because I always went in with friends who used someone else that I never warmed up to. Now I am so glad that I did - my friends' SA is a bit frosty from time to time, but I am so happy with my SA and I just smile at the other one! It will take a bit, but it will be worth it!

Does anyone have any updates? I was wondering if these are still in production and if stores in the US will be getting more of these later in the year.
Also, does anyone have additional modeling pics? I would love to see how everyone is wearing theirs!
