After reading this post, I am mad at myself for not going with LS for my needs. I had a damaged Chanel pump. I took it to the store since I had bought them 2 months ago and asked what could be done to fix them. I wasn’t expecting it to be free since I damaged them while wearing them. They said the heel had to be replaced and they gave me a price. There was no fixing the existing heel. I got the call to pick them up. As I reviewed the heel, it was not replaced. You could see where they fixed it. The heel now had creased leather in the toe cap area. I kept the other heel while the repair was taking place and when compared the two, the one I kept looks in way better condition. The store manager still tried to charge me full price quoted as if the replacement had happened. I refused to accept the repair. I don’t mind paying original price as long as the original repair quoted was done. SMH

Sorry venting on your post but I’m impressed with LS customer service. Thanks for sharing.
Oh no! Out of curiosity, how much were you quoted to fix the heel originally? Did you end up not having to pay for it, since they botched the job?

I was quoted $125 and the boutique manager asked me to pay full amount and that she would talk to the repair person about a potential partial refund. I refused the repair and left the shoe there. I contacted corporate and now waiting to hear what corporate says.

Oof I'd love to see a picture of the botched job and what corporate says. Thank you for sharing and please do update if you're willing!

Update I picked up my shoe as the Chanel boutique kept asking to do so. I haven’t heard from corporate other than they will look into it. I am sad that my shoe now looks used. Here are the results after picking my shoe up.

Thanks for updating! It looks to me like they damaged it when trying to fix it because they weren't careful enough. Really hope corporate will issue a formal apology, I know I would be bothered by the wrinkles too.

I’m so sorry to hear about your heels! But just so you know I just messaged the Leather surgeons about my Chanel espadrilles because it had a popped stitch but they told me that they don’t work on footwear. I didn’t want to bring it to the Chanel boutique since I got mine preloved (used once) and I brought it to the local cobbler here in CT. They seemed very confident that they could fix it so I’m hoping it doesn’t come out terrible!
