What do you have against natural lined bags? Like older coach. Natural lined bags go through an expensive process of making it smooth. Inside of leather is not naturally smooth. The process of making the inside smooth is sometimes as costly as some lining. Plus it is easier to clean and does weigh the bag down with extra material. Plus doesn't have that I between area where mold likes to grow. Any other ideas?

I'm pretty sure that only 3 of my bags are leather lined: Prada with baby smooth leather, BV with lush suede + Celine also finished in leather.

The interior lining does not affect my handbag buying decision much overall but I know it affects price.

I've had a handmade purse from Mexico by a leathersmith that was custom made for me and if sealed properly the wear on the inside is the same as fabric except with expensive leather cleaner stains come out better. Only buy organic and recommended.

Classic saint laurent sac de jours and a few other saint Laurene's, the new ferragamo Sophia's, Celine belts, phantoms and luggages are lined in suede. The suede does make the bags quite heavy.

Designer bags are not. Most are made in Italy, some France or Spain. Only contemporary bags are made in China.

I respectfully disagree. There are threads on the forum regarding LV and Prada. Much discussion that's taken place about both of them being made in China at times. (not always, but it has and does happen.)
