I agree that cheating is wrong, but if he is gay and knew that he was gay when he married her, then to me, he cheated on her first. Deception is always wrong!

I would wholeheartedly agree with this, if the (alleged) lover was not married with young children.
If Rimes married a man who turned out to be a closeted homosexual then she has every right to a relationship with an available straight man, however, this man is married with kids, she can't really preserve a blameless reputation under these circumstances.

LeAnn Rimes and her husband Dean Sheremet have separated, People magazine is reporting.
"They have been separated for awhile, but are still trying to work on how to handle the problems they are having," a source also tells Usmagazine.com. "They are leading separate lives and not staying together most of the time, but still in each others' lives as best friends.
"They are still not divorcing yet, but are working through things and taking time apart - as they have been - while they figure things out."
News of the split comes the same week that Us Weekly confirmed that Rimes is still carrying on an affair with her former Lifetime movie costar, Eddie Cibrian. Us caught the two during a tryst at a Malibu Beach Inn last March, launching weeks of tabloid coverage.
Cibrian's wife recently announced that she and her husband are also taking some time apart, reportedly saying "Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other."
A rep for Rimes had no comment. But her husband took to Twitter on Saturday to thank his supporters. "Thanks to everyone for all the support through a very difficult time!" Sheremet tweeted.
You know there has to be a Lifetime movie in this somehow.
