Now the Country Music star has been sending the duo friendly messages on Twitter.
The 29-year-old started off by sending a playful message to the mother of Eddie's two children Glanville.
The Blue singer shared a photo of her stepson on Wednesday dressed in an Hawaiian outfit in a message she sent to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality.
She said: 'Had to share his luau fabulousness!!!! Mom and he are gonna rock out today. @brandiglanville have Fun!'
Her effort was met with a stony silence, suggesting the 39-year-old model was not overly enthusiastic about having a Twitter conversation with her younger rival.
Perhaps the fact her profile picture showed her sprawled over Brandi's former husband was the reason for the snub.
However her former husband Dean was far more receptive to her overtures when she sent her condolences about his recently passed grandmother.
She told her former backup dancer: 'Im so sorry. She looks so beautiful here, always did. Surreal, I hope you are OK. I cant imagine.'
He promptly replied, telling her: 'Thanks Le, she loved you. Your condolences mean a lot.'
It appears the passage of time is helping to heal the wounds for him, as he even decided to follow her following their exchange.
