Most newly-weds use their honeymoon to shut off from the world and focus on romance, but LeAnn Rimes just can't seem to switch off.
The country singer, 28, invited the Twitter universe into her intimate getaway by posting bikini pictures on her page from Mexico.

But the pictures - which show the Grammy award winner on the beach in a blue and white two piece - quickly prompted concern among some of her thousands of followers.

A Glasgow-based fan wrote that the star, who married Eddie Cibrian earlier this month, looked ‘scary skinny'. But Rimes jumped straight on the defence, sayin: ‘Those are called abs not bones love.’ She went on to say: ‘Thx but this is my body and I can promise you I'm a healthy girl. I'm just lean. Thx for your concern but no need to be.’

It is not the first time that the figure-conscious star has turned to Twitter to defend her body issues.
In April she took a photograph of her bare stomach and long legs while lounging around with Cibrian, with the caption, 'First sun!!!!! SPRING!!!'
In another posting she wrote, 'Dear lord! I do not work out too much nor do I starve myself. I'm so over this and moving on.'
Rimes and Cibrian were married on a private estate in Malibu, California four weeks ago, after they both controversially left their partners to be with each other.

If she can't handle people criticizing her body then she shouldn't post pictures of herself in a bikini on the internet. She was probably expecting compliments and was taken aback when she received the opposite:laugh:

She really is a mess. Why would you even care about this if you were on your honeymoon? Insecure, much?
And as everyone mentioned those are jutting hip bones not abs. But keep telling yourself that, Leann. Along with how he would never cheat on you.

I don't know... I might be the only one, but I don't think she looks like a starvation victim. Her arms and legs ARE super skinny, but her midsection doesn't look that bad. Her skin doesn't look as thin as paper, the only bones you can see is a bit of her hip bones. No ribcage, no chest. Sure, she might not be what many of us call ideal, me neither, but I'm gonna put myself out there to get flogged and say he does have a point. Those are definitely abs, and not even ones that are that particularly defined-- meaning there's still some fat on her body. Her arms and legs make her look far thinner than I think she actually is, as far as bodyfat percentage is concerned. She is damn SMALL, that I'll concede to.

That, however, is complete separate from her insecure, attention whoring antics. The need to even post her body and then have to argue with strangers about it.. that I can't defend.
