She actually did that for me years ago..Later realized the earliest FBFs were made with the leather at the base of the handles floppy. Tubing didn’t reach the very bottom till a bit later.

True! She always does what's best and I've never heard of her messing a bag up... especially our most 🤑 treasured goodies and rare ones. From what I heard from someone here, LMB puts in new tubes to restore the handles so they're firm again.
Shrinking the leather would be possible as well in some cases. But I'd trust LMB to do what's best for the bag.
Ah! Mystery solved Watson! She actually did that for me years ago..Later realized the earliest FBFs were made with the leather at the base of the handles floppy. Tubing didn’t reach the very bottom till a bit later.
One tiny red charm...True! She always does what's best and I've never heard of her messing a bag up... especially our most 🤑 treasured goodies and rare ones.
I just needed my dk turquoise city conditioned and a small spot fixed and I was still scared
I say on that bag 6 years I think before I finally sent it to her and she did a fabulous job... although it wasn't major.
I would now feel better buying a Le dix since the handles always put me off, but now that I hear she can fix relaxed handles too I should look for one one day. They have straps, but no mirrors right? That would be great to find.
And aTeal city.
I don't think my hopes of a dk turquoise makeup will happen. these makeups seem harder to find than ever!
And I need a tiny red city charm!
So many things still to find. Or maybe a blue jean will turn up in a vintage shop! I keep looking. I have no idea why there are none ever in Los Angeles at the vintage fairs! Everything but Bal it seems!
No, it was in reply to @zestypasta 's post.
