I always feel so self concious when I wear super high heels that make me taller than DF, do you?? There are so many celebs. are taller than their SO's when walking the red carpet with their heels. I don't find it awkward at all. However, when I see ladies in real life who are taller than their SOs (including me!) it looks different to me.

Share us your experiances and pictures of yourself and SO when you're taller and the celebs you see on the red carpet who are taller than their SOs!!

I would have to wear some ridiculously high heels to be taller than my dh, I'm only 5'2 and dh is just under 6ft so I don't think that we will ever face this dilemma. But I don't see a problem with it I think it's all in the way the couple carries themselves.

Luuucky!! LOL, DF is the shortest man I've ever been with. I believe he is... 5'8?? And I'm 5'3 3/4. So when I wear my killer heels I'm a taddy bit taller. I prefer guys taller than me, but hey.. What can I do?? I'm in love with a shorty!!

I'm 5'5" and DH is about 5'9". So when I'm in heels we're more or less the same height. Prior to him I dated mostly tall guys, but yeah, I'm in love with a shorty too!

I am a 5'9" tall woman and have never dated a guy shorter than 6' and doubt I ever would since I've always been attracted to tall men. My husband is 6'3", so I can wear whatever heels I want although I usually only wear 2" heels.
I don't love the tall celeb women with their short husbands, because it makes the tall women look gawky to me. They obviously have a right to date and marry who they choose, but I don't really find it attractive. Liv Tyler and her hubby were wierd looking together IMO. Katie and Tom look strange too. If I was Katie, I would just wear lower heels when I went out with Tom, but I think its a turn-on of some sort for Tom-Nicole Kidman.

Yah for 3 years I wore short heels or flats. Because I thought it looked a little weird, and I was self concious. However, I dont really think short heels are all that cute and sexy so now I say screw it. I'm in love with a guy whos the same height as me when I wear heels. I just have to grin and bare it. Haha. However, all the guys I know loooove tall woman. But shoot, I'm only 5'3 2/3rds! Not really "tall". Haha.

I'm 5'10" and my ex was the same height as me. So whenever I wore heels, I was about 3-4 inches taller than him. At first it was strange, but I got used to it. I do prefer a man to be taller than me, though, so perhaps I should start dating taller men, if they weren't so hard to find!

I personally have never dated a guy that was shorter than me. I did date one that was just about the same height and it drove me nuts!! Most of my boyfriends have been 5'10" - 6'2". I'm 5'7"

Ditto except I never wear heels. Being 5'9 and asian doesn't really make it easy....

im 5'4 and my DH is 5'5. most people think im taller cuz i stand up straight i guess :p i love heels, but dont wear them... im not a skilled walker in them and since i never wear them they feel so uncomfortable! maybe if my DH was taller id be more interested in getting used to them, but im a flats kind of girl and probably always will be. ive gotten used to our heights and dont notice it now. u r all lucky to have men a few inches taller :p but how u look together isnt as important as how u feel about each other :heart: :love: :amuse: :shame: :smooch: :hugs:

My SO and I are the same height.

I like wearing heels and being taller than him. I actually like the look of a woman being taller than her man... very different and not something we're used to, I guess that's why it bothers some people. :)

Im 5'10 and my SO is 5'6. I never wear heels even though im so so so so so so in love with them! I have a couple of them but, they are sitting quietly collecting dust. :(
