Thanks for the reply. I watched some YouTube videos and downloaded the “NFC tools”, scanned my bag and did find a NFC, however it’s not something legible, just a very long serial number, unlike the typical date code.
Maybe the sales in a store would use a different NFC app.

You can always ask the store to scan it for you for peace of mind.

The NFC chips are block chained so only LV can use the data to pull the full information. We can scan in our phones to confirm the presence of the chip but in store when they scan with their software they can see when & where it was made, when it was sold, any repairs, etc.
