I only recently realized that I like soft unstructured bags more than hard structured ones.

Yes, me too, obviously  i had a few structured ones, but eventually ended up either giving them away, or not using at allQUOTE]
I love buttery leather, and love the look of soft bags, but I got one and it puddled to the floor which made it hard to find things inside. It bothered me so much I gave the bag away after a few days! So sad! It was gorgeous! Now I've found structured bags and structured totes with little pouches work for me. Maybe I should have tried pouches in the one that puddled. How do you use the floppy bags without everything getting lost? Do you find that it's hard to find things, is everything super organized, or does it not bother you that the bag collapses on itself making it harder to find things inside? I think I need to try one out sometime to see if I can make it work.

First of all frequent change of bags (i do 2-3 bags a week) helps to limit the junk I lug around, when i swap bags, i just put in only stuff i need for tomorrow, rest is either going back to the place, or to the bin.
Second, i use pouches (2) and all my bags have comfortable compartments and pockets which i also use by their purpose, it helps me to get the right item with one hand even without looking into the bag. I just know where it is :flowers:

I am not sure if any of my bags puddle to the floor — many are unstructured such as the Balenciaga bags (I don’t have any completely puddly bags like the Givenchy Pandora). I use pouches to keep things organized regardless of how structured the bag is. Pouches also help make changing bags easier (instead of transferring 7-10 different items each time, i transfer probably 2-3 pouches with various items in each pouch). Hope this helps :)

Yes! This is helpful! I think maybe my bag was too large and too unstructured. I won't give up on that idea!

This makes sense! My huge bag was all one big compartment. Also, at the time it was a giant purse/diaper bag for the few days I tried it. I wish I'd used pouches then. It was a gorgeous bag. Thank you!
