Yes.Wow that's great, if I remember I will take mine with me when I next get to go to the LV boutique. Is it the same for all international locations (Europe)?

Actually, Monogram canvas rarely fades, and LV SLGs are famously hard-wearing--though of course some items may do worse.
First, more Monogram items are resold because the bulk of LV canvas items sold to begin with are in the Mono canvas. And second, rarely does Mono fade. It takes specific environmental conditions for that to happen.
And LV SLGs are the hardiest out there in the luxury category.
Replacing the zipper pull is a temporary fix IMO, as the key hook and teeth really stand out on this piece. The hardware should either be gold-plated brass or, if they insist on using "silvery metal" underneath, plated in palladium. I sold my DA cles due to this very reason and won't buy another one until they start using brass again. Since you have it you may as well enjoy it, but if you're like me and you can't, you can probably recoup at least 75% of the sticker price on the second hand market.
Monogram canvas definitely fades over time. It’s a fact. LV slgs are hardwearing sometimes and less so other times. We can agree that the gold hardware is very bad quality.First, I don't believe I implied monograms being resold was an issue that you had to quote, point out, and explain it like a rebuttal--I was merely stating what I have seen and I think OP understood that--and secondly the OP said hers were fading and sounded as if she didn't know why which is why I said that they do have tendency to fade and the cs will tell her that's normal wear and tear--didn't say it happens to everyone! And I have seen more than a "rare" amount of faded monogram bags--again just sharing what I've seen. As for the durability of LV's slgs some would say that's debatable, maybe you're right, maybe it's individual preference, not arguing with you on that

I knew my eyes didn't deceive.

Could be. Guess it depends on an individual basis.

Yes and hardware has changed again within past 6 months, have you seen the recent mini pochettes
I don't have any recommendations, but Gucci and YSL seem to make similar items. Of course the YSL costs $425 but looks like it should be priced at $275 to $325 max (just my opinion). I don't know how these hold up, but if you do the research and find a higher quality substitute, please share!I use items heavily but for me aesthetic really plays an important part too and I hate using this pouch now.I do need a replacement for carrying in small bags and clutches - can you recommend any brands which are exceptional quality or use real brass/gold plating?
I have also found this to be trueFirst, more Monogram items are resold because the bulk of LV canvas items sold to begin with are in the Mono canvas. And second, rarely does Mono fade. It takes specific environmental conditions for that to happen.

Is the mcm key pouch the same size as lv's? Would it fit in mini pa?
Edit : Nevermind. Looked it up.
Lol yeah I saw the dimensionsDefinitely way bigger then the LV Classic Keypouch. [emoji1]
I would agree fading mono is uncommon under mindful storage. My oldest mono Speedy is a tad faded, but then it’s from THE 80’s, so. I have a mono Noe that is vintage (20+) that is not faded.First, more Monogram items are resold because the bulk of LV canvas items sold to begin with are in the Mono canvas.
