I had the cles first love it. I carried cards inside an 2 keys on the chain. Then I just got the 6 ring key holder and love it. I have 5 cards inside plus 3 keys and my car key hangs outside because it's to bulky inside. I love both. You can't go wrong with either one.

What about the vernis? You don't like vernis?

I don't have any experience using the vernis material. Tbh, I would be afraid of scuffing/scratching it. I have the cles in mono and azur...they are my little Icelandic work horses...small but hardy. I use one in my milla to put change in, and the other everyday for my Amex and drivers license. Sometimes I just take it and use it on its own for errands...clipped to my belt loop, tucked in my pocket.

I have been using my vernis cles everyday for the last 4-5 years. No scratches at all. And no wearing even in the corners. And I am rough with it. Hope you find the right cles/key pouch for you!

Oh, I had a thread about pouches for those key fobs. I actually wound up getting a mini pochette (I have a larger than normal key fob which I keep with the fob for DH's car). If you don't want to spend that much though, def get the cles. You'll want to protect the fob from damage. No good can come of your fob dangling outside of the six-key holder (which, I wound up getting for my regular keys).

ETA: If you're not at all concerned about protecting your key fobs I absolutely love my six-key holder because of its card compartment. ;)

Thanks for your reply on the vernis! That's great to know. I never looked into that line given my preconception. My bad. ;). That's what this forum is for...useful info and enabling :)
Ps. Does the vernis cles have the outside pocket you mentioned?

Here, have a look at it back and front. It's much bigger in size from the DE and DA, even the Mono. It has had coffee split on it and used everyday without fail. Still in perfect condition

Does the hardware chip off with the keys on the ring of the cles? I have heard about this happening x

Not on mine. It's truly lasted so well and though I am super careful with my bags, I am much harder on my SLGs. My cles vernis is 4-5 years old now and no chip on leather or hardware. The seal on the sides are pristine too. Gold on hardware did not discolour too. It's not cheap but it's so worth it.
