What about the sellers on ebay that have great reviews and hassle free refunds, yet they say they only allow return if bag isn't as described and then they want restocking fees and return shipping? Hard to even try one with all the bad experiences out there.

the good news for buyers is ebay will usually side with you when the bag is not as described......bad news is you have to pay return shipping. I can't believe you'd have to pay restocking fees in a case like this but my two negative experiences were with small sellers who didn't really have policies.

In both cases, I bought a bag from someone who had positive history but with much smaller value items.

Like another member mentioned earlier....all Molly bags have an outside zipper. On the regular Molly's the zipper is on the back and the color block and pebbled Molly the zipper is in the front along with a slip pocket behind the zipper.

the first picture I saw was showing just the front of a cognac one but now I'm aware there is an outside zip on it
wish I could see one of these bags IRL

Check out the Molly/Rory thread. There's lots of pictures. But I totally understand how not being able to see one makes it harder to determine if you'll love it. Maybe try YouTube to see a video on one? Videos will give you more of an idea of how the bag looks and what it can hold?

good idea
it seems to me it would be kind of similar to Rebecca Minkoff morning after mini.....and possibly the leather might be nicer at least compared to the new RM bags

I carried my Molly yesterday. I do really love it. If you like the classic style...I'd highly recommend trying to get one. Yes...definitely look at the clubhouse, mod shots. I had purchased one a long time ago and returned it. That was when they were at outlets so harder to find. Saw a lady carrying it decided I had to have it again and had to buy it on eBay. I was lucky and got a great seller and perfect bag!

I own a RM cupid bag and the leather is thinner than my Molly bag. I don't own any other RM bags but the Legacy leather is def worth it IMO

It seems like Molly is going for pretty high prices at the moment on Ebay.

I know...its a bummer. I ended up getting really lucky on mine from eBay. I think it was an auction and not BIN and didn't have any or not much competition and got her for $160 w/ shipping NWT. You may have to be patient and see if one pops up.

I think it is crazy when people have pre-owned listed for $250! Good luck!

I know you were asking someone else - and I haven't seen a black cherry for a while. I am not a big red fan - but it was/is really pretty. Not orangish at all...I pretty deep red. I think it would be a pretty nice neutral actually.
