I just was at the Royal Exchange Hermès in London (in the City's financial district and with a high percentage of inventory for men's products) and asked my SA what the latest status is on the Kelly Depeche. She said that she was just back from a buying trip to Paris and that they aren't making it at the moment. She hopes they will bring it back but for the time being it isn't available.

Perhaps if we keep going in to the stores wherever we might be and enquire about the style it might be brought back.
Out of interest, does anyone know what how much they cost before the design was rested?
I have an idea that the handbags were a lot more.

That is in line with the Sac a Depeches being sold now.

I did not understand the reason for the sharp comment appended to the price you gave.
There was nothing to suggest a request for authentication or trading in the thread or post.

Hi PJW5813, the comment you read underneath is a general footnote/instruction to public on how to obtain authentic advises as many TPFers seeking for authentic advises and dear Papertiger is one of the valuable volenteer in the "authenticate this Hermes..." thread..:smile1: You can add your own messages or pictures as you like in the setting as well...


My DH bought his Epsom "Kelly" briefcase in Burgundy color ( which I call it Kelly briefcase:graucho:) 10 year ago in US, it was about $4,000 plus lcoal sales tax. I am hoping H brings it back because it is so chic! 😍 Back in the days I wanted to steal from him but unsuccessful...:laugh:

After many months of seeking I have at last acquired a Kelly Sac a Depeches.
It dates from 2007 and as you can see is veau box noir.

Over the twelve months I have been looking on the consignment sites and was wary of eBay sellers until I saw a YouTube video by a PF member showing his newly acquired and authenticated KSaD from an eBay seller. So I cautiously added eBay to my hunting ground and I've seen six over the past months: I was dubious about three of them; one was in poor condition. Prior to the one I have just bought was another from the same vendor.
There were features of this that made me feel it was 'right' so I sought an opinion from the authenticators on here. I looked very hard, investigated as much as I could before making the purchase. It has now been authenticated and I can share it with you.

Beautiful case !! Congrats on your find. This is not a B or K so I don't think that you'll see any replicas. The hard part is finding one in a condition that is acceptable.
