Kelly Cut Discontinued?

I don't know if it is discontinued but I was told yesterday by my SA that no K Cuts are being ordered for my store this year - the choice has been made to invest the budget in K Pochettes instead. I'd be very sad to see the Cut go if it is true!
I have been chasing after a Kelly Cut at my home store too.
I asked my SA earlier this year and he told me that even though they don't get them often, he doesn't think they are discontinued but rather low in production as they fell out of popularity.
He noted down my interest in the this style and said he would keep me posted.

I loveeee Kcut! It is such an elegant evening bag. I use it alot because not many people have it and always feel special ☺️ I’m hoping to get another one in different colour
Thank you! I feel like this is definitely the case rather than the style being discontinued. I still see quite a bit of the KC in the resell market. So they’re still out there!
This is so odd to me as I'd think the Kelly Cut is even more relevant now that the East-West style is coming back. Other brands have released Kelly Cut-esque items (like the Bottega Andiamo Clutch) in recent seasons.
I agree. It has always been such a sophisticated bag, and genuinely practical for theatre, dining out etc. Mine is one of my most-used H bags and I’d buy another in a heartbeat. The pochette is cute but it’s not in the same league IMO.
Totally agree. There are many wanna be styles that mimic the KC so it seems odd that Hermes would want to discontinue the style.
ETA- now that I think about it, maybe that’s why they are slowing down production…. Due to the new influx of other brands mimicking this design 🤔

Your turquoise sounds divine! I got one in Nata with ghw in Paris a few years ago and love it. Such a great light neutral. Hope another one finds its way to you!
I have the Kelly longue clutch (so obviously not the same size but very similar). It perfection. Fits all of my essentials and I also own the Andiamo clutch. I love wearing both casually and dressed up. If I had the opportunity to add a Kelly cut I would snatch it up in a second. I also find it odd that they’re not producing the Kelly cut as much. The bag seems extremely relevant to me
I love your Kelly longue, such a great colour, and they are even harder to find than the Cuts! I’d totally grab one of those too if one popped up in the right colour.
