~ Kelly 28 in Clemence: can I control the slouch?

I have an etain B 35 in Clemence. I use samorga felt bag insert which is not rigid so as to harm it but also helps maintain my B's structure! I store it lying down in its dustbag with the insert inside the bag and I have no issues with it being slouchy. It's been a year and a half since I got it. I love Clemence and how buttery it is [emoji173]️[emoji173]️

Always use a bag insert whether it is Togo or Clemence.

I have a Gris Tourtelle in clemence from around 4 years ago and she still looks like new, I remember when my SA offered her to me and I was a bit worried about the slouch bit 4 years later and still looks the same as the day I brought her home, I love clemence leather as it seems thicker than Togo, I have several Togo Birkins as well as Epsom and Box and I can honestly say I don't find clemence much different to Togo

I love the thickness of clemence leather too vs togo.

I'm bumping this thread. I'm in the same position as OP. Just found the perfect Kelly 28, perfect condition, perfect hardware but clemence and not togo. I actually prefer clemence to togo (except for certain colors). If this were a birkin, it would be a no brainer for me as I don't mind a little slouch in a birkin. But I'd rather this Kelly not slouch. Would love your opinion and advice. Go for it? Wait for togo?

Go with what you prefer, don’t settle. I love my k28 in Clemence . Good luck deciding.

I still don't think a Clemence K28 will slouch that much unless overloaded. I would take Clemence over Togo anyway for its hand feel and the slightly different way it takes color. I wish a Clemence K28 would turn up for me! I don't see much Clemence in Kellys lately.

Hi @Rockerchic I ended up getting the Kelly and couldn't be happier with it I'm using a Samorga bag insert to organize my stuff inside and to hold the shape. Its been great so far!

That’s really good to know. I’m waiting for my SO k25 and it is in Clemence. I actually prefer the touch of Clemence but extremely worry that it would slouch. My preferred color was only available in Clemence so....hopefully I didn’t make the wrong choice.

Don't worry, the smaller the bag the less likely it will slouch. You made the right choice
