Keeping all tags and receipts?

I like to keep everything in case my bag gets damaged and I need it repaired. Some brands might require a proof of purchase/authenticity so I need to make sure I keep all the receipts and tags just in case.

I keep them! I'm still at a phase in my life and fashion where I haven't quite finished developing my taste. I can't guarantee to myself I won't dislike something I buy two years later. Also, I remember reading on here about poor TPFers who were robbed, and keeping detailed logs on their bags' information really helped.
I scan the receipts to my computer then put them together with any tags or authenticity cards into an envelope and file them all in a drawer at work. If anyone burgles my house and takes bags I’m not going to make it easy for them to sell on. Also if I sell an item I’m not using it will always come with a full set.

+1 to all the above

I do keep the receipts, dust bags and boxes. The receipts I keep in a notebook (very easy to do, I use notebooks for everything!) even though I have no intention of reselling, it’s always good to have a record of what I have purchased just in case I change my mind.

Hi all! Just out of curiosity, do you all keep the receipts and tags of every bag you purchase safe and sound? I’ve been insanely lazy and careless with my handbags in this regard, so far as to say I’ve even misplaced some bags dustcovers! I love my bags dearly but just find it so difficult with my hectic lifestyle to keep all relevant materials that come with the bags, safe and handy. Tell me I’m not the only one!
@IzzyBunny, you are not the only one, though we seem to be in the minority. I used to keep receipts for Everything! & eventually got soo tired of it. I progressed from filing to just throwing them in a drawer, which then grew to more than one drawer. I got disgusted with the space these were taking up so one day I dumped them all in the trash. Now I just register the bags, enjoy the bags, and file any paper under T.
