Keep sapphire setting?

Such a beautiful ring! I agree with others that this is a timeless, classic setting! Personally, I would keep the same setting even if it means rebuilding it. You are very fortunate to have inherited such a treasure!

I would rebuild it to keep the same setting as much as possible. It’s stunning and unique. Pave and halos are everywhere. This is an eye catcher.

Agree...art deco is quite popular and timeless. Have the ring remade in this style. Gorgeous!

I love this style, so a new setting based off this design is perfect! If you do change it up, I don't think such a large stunning stone needs a halo, it shines as it is.
