She was participating in a Facebook Live event, and from what I've gathered, that is where they have big guests sit down with (in this case) Randi Zuckerberg, who is Mark's sister and handles PR, and she takes questions from people live with a MacBook. So far they've had Katy and George W. Bush.

Katy was there to make the announcement that she was releasing dates for the North American leg of the California Dreams Tour, and that the opening acts for some dates included Robyn and Marina & The Diamonds.

Katy Perry Keeps Fit By Skipping.

The 26-year-old singer enjoys five 25-minute workouts every week with personal trainer Harley Pasternak, who says her brief workouts are better for keeping her trim in the long term.

Harley said: "It's an intense workout that lasts 25 minutes. Working out more often for shorter periods is better than three times a week for longer.

"Katy loves jumping rope, so that's what we do for cardio. It's convenient, dance-like and expressive and efficient, time-wise."

Harley has also put Katy on a strict diet, where she eats five small meals a day, though once a week she can indulge in her favourite treats such as pizza and chocolate.

Harley explained: "She eats two meals and three snacks a day, consisting of healthy fats, lean protein, fibre and a non-sugar drink.

"Her favourite meal from recipes I've created is French toast – slices of bread dipped in egg white, skimmed milk and a little sugar, grilled and topped with low-fat ricotta cheese and berries."

ETA: It must be difficult to find a proper sports bra for her.

Katy Perry thinks boys are just as excited about seeing her 2011 tour as girls.

The ‘Firework' singer knows she has more female fans than male admirers but is confident any guy who is being taken to one of her concerts by their girlfriends this year will enjoy her show.

She said: "That's the thing with me, I think a lot of girls are bringing their boyfriends along, but the boyfriends aren't dragging their feet. They will be secretly excited to be coming to see me, I think."

Katy -- who is married to Russell Brand -- is also confident she may be able to convince a special guest to put in an appearance at some concerts if their schedules allow for it.

She added: "Perhaps Snoop Dogg will make a surprise guest appearance if he happens to be in the same city at the same time. The boyfriends would enjoy that!"

Snoop guest starred on Katy's single ‘California Gurls'. Her European tour starts in Lisbon, Portugal, on February 20 and runs until April.

Do you know how much I would freak out if I was at a date that had Robyn (who has a song featuring Snoop Dogg as well), Katy, AND Snoop Dogg, AND he performed both tracks with them?

How I Met Your Mother viewers are about to say hello to a California Gurl.

In what can only be billed as a Teenage Dream to many fans of this CBS sitcom, Katy Perry will guest star on the show's February 7 episode. Not much is known about her role, except that Russell Brand's prettier half will portray a woman named Honey. Look for her to get close to Barney.

We've got your first few looks at Perry's small screen debut below. Will she ignite the night in question? Like a Firework? We'll soon find out.

I was underwhelmed with her ability to sing on Saturday Night Live, but I've watched lots of her vlogs, and she has demonstrated that she can sing without a computer adjusting her (her speaking voice is sing-songy, too), but I really can't tell for sure.

Her voice is kind of weird and gutteral, so it's hard to tell if I just wasn't used to it, or if I genuinely didn't like it.

I almost wish that she had compared herself to Beyonce. Trick is not the new Cyndi Lauper, nor will she ever, ever be. I like her, but ...let's not, and never say we did. Deny it vehemently, in fact.

Katy decided to down play the heavily printed dress by wearing her hair loosely tousled at the 2nd Annual “Change Begins Within” benefit in NYC.

Ashanti, on the other hand, went all out at the 2010 Princess Grace Awards Gala in NYC! Her Jersey Shore-esque Snooki inspired poof with ultra blonde highlights distract from her perfectly fitted gown.
