Kate Beckinsale spends the afternoon with her daughter, Lily Sheen, as they shop around town on Friday (July 15) in Toronto, Canada.

The 37-year-old actress kept close to Lily, who also brought a friend along, as they made their way down a busy Toronto street.

Lily carried a purse emblazoned with the British flag, showing pride for her mom’s home country of England!

Kate is currently in Canada filming Total Recall, which also stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Ethan Hawke, and Bryan Cranston. The film is set to be released in August 2012.

Colin Farrell and Jessica Biel attend a panel for their film Total Recall during Comic-Con 2011 held at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.

The pair was joined by their co-stars Kate Beckinsale and Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston, as well as director Len Wiseman!

Bryan spoke about how the film is character driven, even though there is a ton of action.

“The more we get the audience involved, the more they will enjoy the movie. If you can’t invest in the characters then you can have all the explosions in the world and I won’t be interested,” he said.

FYI: Jessica is wearing a Christian Cota sleeveless top and shorts with Aldo shoes. Kate is wearing a Tibi top and skirt with an Isharya bangle.
