Trying again!

Ok so I finally used safari on my phone to access the tpf website (I normally use the app)...and I was finally able to see the photo. So pretty and sweet. I love it!! Thank you for sharing [emoji4].

My SA told me the same thing...that the new juc is out right now but waiting for stores to sell out of the old one. But then another SA at the same boutique told me it's not out yet so now I'm not sure. I tried the old and new juc at the boutique and the new was soooo much easier [emoji4].

Do the old and new JUC look the same? What makes the new one easier to remove and put on? Is it a completely different locking system? I wish there is a picture of the new one to see the difference.

From what I remember, the new juc and the old juc looked exactly the same except for the locking part (nail head and tip). To be honest, I don't remember how exactly it differed because the difference was so subtle. Also since my boutique didn't have the new juc on hand, I tried on the juc with all diamonds. So if anyone wants to see the new locking closure, ask for the all diamond juc. [emoji4]

I also wanted to mention that this new locking mechanism is not new to the juc bracelet per se. The all diamond juc always had this type of closure according to my SA.

I don't know about the new locking mechanism but I feel that the current one is very safe. It does require some effort but with practice you'll get the hang of it. Like another TPFer said it's best to have the nail head face you to make it easier! The position of the lock should be as pictured (towards your body). IMG_1491629880.375068.jpg

I did end up getting the juc with the original locking mechanism and I could take it off with no problems now. Putting it back on though can be a little difficult.

I have a juc with the original locking mechanism also and I agree- taking it off is much easier than putting it on. But I have been getting used to it and find it easier to use as it ages and breaks in a bit. Still curious to see how the new mechanism differs from the original though

I have the original locking system, only struggled with it on the first couple of days. I have mastered it, regardless of which directions it faces. Just hv to depress downward the head side with thumb and use your index finger to support at the pointed tip side by lifting upward.
