Bumping this to say… I’ve been bitten by the JUC bug! First I thought I wanted the juc earrings.. but upon some soul searching I think I need the juc bracelet :graucho: Unsure about diamonds vs regular. My MIL wears the diamond regular size juc daily and I am wowed each time. If I get the regular, will I forever lust for the diamonds? Anyway, just some thinking out loud and some manifesting :blush:
I'm in the minority, but I adore JUC without diamonds in both, thin and regular models. I love the shape of the nailhead without diamonds, it's so smooth and cool looking. I think JUC with diamonds looks nice too, but I really prefer the original more masculine design. Ideally, I'd just get both, but I chose one without diamonds and I love it so much. Whenever I see one with diamonds I think that it's pretty, but for me diamonds make it look more like a any other diamond bracelet. IMHO the distinct shape of the nail gets a little lost with diamonds.

I completely agree!! When I purchased my small juc I fully went in thinking I was going to purchase the diamond one and I ended up loving the non diamond one. It may be because my loves don't have diamonds but the diamond juc looked out of place with my stack. In any case it was a very nice surprise for my wallet

I really love the look of the juc without diamonds too, I think it would work great for me.

My thinking for wanting diamonds: I don’t own many diamonds, other than my engagement ring, wedding band, and 2 diamond love necklace. I’m craving some diamond in my life :graucho: I also have the regular yg love and the regular love necklace. Much to my wallet’s dismay, I’m really feeling the pull towards a diamond juc. It doesn’t help that my MIL has it and I always find myself staring at it! It’s reinforcing how much I’m drawn to it!

I cannot wait to try them on in person. The truth is, I likely won’t purchase this year. It’s our 10 year anniversary and we are taking a big trip, so experiences outweigh jewelery this year. But there’s always next year?:lol:

If you feel more drawn to diamonds, you should 100% get diamonds! If you're going aboard, check the pricing in that country and the VAT refund, I know you said you probably won't purchase it this year, but if it's a big enough saving you might want to consider getting it during a trip. I was able to save about $800 on my love by purchasing it abroad.

I'm trying to choose between the regular JUC and the Ecrou as an every day casual piece. WG. Help me choose -

Ecrou - Fun and a little more casual. I just think it's a bit too true to an actual threaded rod and nuts. It's not iconic.

JUC - Love it. Much more iconic for an only piece. This is also my only luxury piece at all. I'm extremely casual and mostly in activewear. Is it a bit too shiny?

seems like you already have an answer, the JUC! definitely not too shiny, a perfect everyday piece, and scratches don't show up as much as on the love, go for it!

For those of you that wear the JUC and the Love, have you guys noticed roughing around the edges on the head of the JUC that touches the Love? I was wearing them together everyday but really bothered me how it did that. I don’t want to get it polished bc I don’t want to lose the edginess of the head but it really bothers me 😔

No, I’ve been stacking mine for a couple years, there no damage to mine.

I have a regular size JUC with diamonds which I wear with a regular size love. The JUC is closest to my wrist and both bracelets are intentionally loose(ish), with movement. The edges of the JUC nailhead is fine BUT the edge of the love where the nailhead hits is a bit rough. I’ve chosen to view it not negatively but an expected casualty of stacking.

Ugh, I wonder why mine did that. I have the nail head against the love per the recommendation of my SA. I still love both but I haven’t worn them together for awhile bc of it 😔
It may have to do with the weights ie. regular vs small JUC. Less force with a sm JUC next to Love. Also loose fit likely more force with contact vs snug. I find even 2 Loves next to each other will scratch the sides. You don't see it with casual observance but held under bright light one can see the swirls and lines. Gold is soft.

I have a small thin gold JUC bracelet and a regular WG with diamonds. I am thinking of getting a regular gold or rose gold JUC bracelet from the preloved market for everyday wear. I found one for about $6k with COA and receipt purchased in 2017. The seller has paper showing it was recently brought to the Cartier boutique for polishing done. Is this a good deal since it already has polishing done and original purchase date was 2017? I've heard polishing should not be done often. Thank you in advance for your insight! :flowers:
