I’ve been wearing my 18k rose gold Diamond by the yard bracelet with 5 diamonds. I suddenly looked down and realized it’s missing!!!!! Oh my gosh I don’t know what to do. I was out and about all day today. I don’t know if it came off last night, this morning, just now……. I looked around house but it’s nowhere to be found!!!

I’m home now at night but it might’ve come off outside. It’s been snug for awhile and I know it was snug last time. Maybe I got robbed and someone stealthily took it off my wrist today outside.

Omg, I kinda wanna only buy Hermes handbags now, no more jewelry. Too easily lost!

Did this happen to anyone?

P.S. To those thinking of buying tennis bracelet in another thread, please think long and hard before purchasing one on expensive side. It seems small bracelets could come undone easier. Better to get something bigger and not lost easily like handbag or sturdier like watch.

Omg , that is like my worst nightmare. I hope you will be able to file insurrance claim for it.

From the way you describe your bracelet, looks like they are on a thin chain. Maybe since they were snug, there is a chance they popped out in the house. I would def give your place a good look.

I would not avoid tennis bracelet if you can get one that is a row of diamond. Those are stronger than the diamond by the yard from my experience.

Any valuable items have a risk of loosing or stolen disregarding whether it is bag or jewelry. Hermes is getting popular now a day and one maybe even a worst target if the thief know the brand. I would recommend to get insurrance for all your valuable.

So sorry to hear this. It's a bummer. Please retrace every step you took yesterday and figure out the last time you seen in on your wrist. Then work forwards on where/ when you might have lost it. Lost doesn't mean there's no hope.

I once lost a diamond on my Tiffany diamond cross necklace. I looked everywhere for 2 days, and at last, I found the stone in my art studio on the floor! Don't give up hope just yet!

And another reason could be it was snug, and the clasp popped. Usually, full diamond tennis bracelets are very strong, even if the diamonds are small. But still, even Tiffany chains are very strong. I think it popped off rather than stolen. With a tight bracelet, you would have felt something if anyone got that close to you and tried to get it off your wrist.

Yikes. I really feel for you.

Most of us have been there, it stings and stings, but I am so, so sorry it happened to you. With light pieces there's a danger that even if/when it falls, you won't hear or even feel it.

Somewhere I have hidden a ring from myself. I'm so sure I've worn it in my present house, and I would have noticed if it fell off outside, It's not even a piece I would everyday, in fact I would think big time before wearing it out. I wouldn't have taken it off, not even in a washroom, drives me crazy. Years ago, I thought I lost a pair of earrings at a wedding (they are quite tight on my ears so the last thing I remembered was I took them off and put them in my clutch). They went with a ring, and I couldn't even look at the ring anymore without cursing myself. I couldn't find them for years ---- and then they turned up.

Stay positive, don't drive yourself crazy, when you have time, lie down, and re-run your day.

The very best of luck!!!

 So sorry, it's the most frustrating thing.

Agree with @baghagg to thoroughly check your car. I lost my JUC ring in there because I felt it fall off my finger when I was driving and pushing buttons but I couldn't find it!
It was my husband who found it, he had to lift up one of the plastic panels on the car floor around my seat (this was when I had a prius, so a lot of plastic and removable parts) and it had somehow found its way underneath there!

Tiffany DBTY pieces are very dainty with a very delicate chain and small clasp. I have a DBTY necklace that I never take off but I can see it easily disappearing if the clasp was not completely closed or if it broke. (fortunately has not happened, knock on wood)

Edit: Btw I'm a bit confused but I think tennis bracelets are different from a 5 diamond DBTY bracelet. Tennis bracelets are usually full diamonds all around but the DBTY 5 diamond has 5 diamonds evenly spaced out on a chain.
