Just got Vanity PM this afternoon

For those with the Vanity PM, has anyone had issues with the zipper? I've seen several YouTube reviews and it seems to be a bit of a challenge to open and close, especially if the bag isn't sitting on surface. Interested in the thoughts of those who own this item. Thanks for any and all input.

The zipper itself is smooth but more challenging to open/close due to the shape and softness of the canvas. I usually use one hand to stabilize the bag against my body and use the other hand to open/close. Not a bag for you if you need to always get in/out of your bags quickly. I love vanity style bags which tend to have the same issue so it doesn’t bother me.

The shoulder chain is too short for me to use it crossbody .

I purchased an extender on Etsy to give me the ability to wear it crossbody. I’m 5’4”. The bag is adorable but I haven’t even carried it yet!

I use the chain from my City Malle MM as extension, even when I shoulder carry my Vanity PM. I’m 5’7” and prefer the shoulder carry bag to be lower, the original chain is too short

Yes,the strap for the Game On vanity is even shorter . For you maybe the Reverse vanity strap is ok for shoulder carry, for cross body you have to add chain . I’m 5’7” , so I have to add chain even for shoulder carry , I add by using chain of City Malle MM , or I use the whole strap of Trunk clutch

I have been torn about buying this bag or a vintage classic flap (black however not in leather) with a bijou reissue chain
I just don't know what to do especially as this bag is so new

They are 2 very different bags, the Chanel classic flap is easier to get things in and out, as compared to Vanity PM , but Vanity PM looks more stylish . I have a few Chanel flaps but I’m not using them that nowadays , maybe because they are too classic and too boring , I just keep them as my collection

I’m 5”7 and the strap is too short for me crossbody. So I used PSM strap or Monogram strap instead.
