So, I got my MK Hamilton in Zinnia yesterday. Apparently it had been sitting too long and the leather started crackling in the front and in the back. :crybaby:

So, first thing I did this morning was go to the MK store and they said if they can fix it, they will or they're going to replace it. I'm worried that they won't be able to because it's last seasons..So ladies...Fingers crossed! I'll know in FOUR WEEKS. :nogood:

Here's a picture of what might be my next purchase. :D

So sorry that this happened to your bag. I know how excited your were about adding it to your collection. Nordstrom usually stands behind its products. I believe that you could've taken the damaged/defective item back to them and they would've sent it for repair or replaced it. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but they've been known to send other items for repair, too ( for example, fixing Longchamp le pliages with torn corners.) Good luck!

Nordstrom couldn't get the same bag again, had to go through MK. Nobody has the bag! People at MK haven't even seen that bag before. Only some select stores had it. :rain:

I had this very same bag and it did the very same thing!! nothing much that can be done, I brought mine from MK store and was told that its just the way the leather is made. I ended up selling it because it was annoying to look at. so glad to know that others had this same issue and good luck!!!

I bought a Hamilton with the saffiano leather on eBay but it hasn't arrived yet.

I hope it doesn't have issues of cracking with the leather and I hope when re-selling defected handbags that the seller/s state truthful descriptions.

I don't want to be paying for someone else's garbage unknowingly (improper declaration without photos) - dispute ticket would be opened immediately on that one.

I know all about that, I've had that problem with sellers on eBay. I've had that problem with a hamilton. I actually sent a e-mail to a seller and told her to let the people know that there was a scratch. She finally did it, but we had to exchange a few nasty words.
