JC really are suuuuper accommodating. I was considering a Panier by them and asked them about sizing, and they were ready to help me make a custom sized bag. I ultimately decided I didn't want another shoulder bag, but they did offer to quote me the cost. They recommended I make an order of 3+ bags if I wanted to customize the size to help break down the price; here's what they said exactly:

"The price will be consequent because of the development, in this case it would be better to order a minimum quantity of three, to reduce the costs for the study and development."

A small company that can work with you on exactly what you want is a beautiful thing. I can't wait to get one some day, but at the moment it does seem rather cost prohibitive for me!

Preloved is very cheap!

Hello fellow JC lovers! Does anyone have the mini Deville or mini Confort that can speak to the ease of use or how much they can fit? Mod shots would be amazing too. I want to get a customized one but with all the options, I can’t decide. I know I want either a Deville mini or Confort mini in black with ghw, Togo gold with gold hw, glaise with ghw, or fleurdepo fauve with ghw. I love the look of the Confort but feel like the Deville might be more practical/secure? I would get rolled handles on the Confort to dress it up a bit... maybe get both but which one in black and which one in brown/gray? It’s so hard visualizing what they look like to compare how they make you feel... help?

Same problem here, I'm really attracted to the minis but I would like to have someone's review first ! Same, would order the rolled handles too.

I may help you with the leathers, I know them. Togo and Glaise are amazing, really durable and strong, fleurdepo is easily scratched but very soft to touch.

What do you think of a black mini Deville with g hw and rolled handles? It reminds me a bit of the h plume and I love how clean and easy that wears. I found this on IG but have no idea what the name of the one on the right is or if they could make a smaller size:

I think the mini Deville in black with g hw and rolled handles would be gorgeous ! I love the mini Deville, the lines are clean and subtles and the bag is chic and understated. You're right there is an Hermès vibe in the model or in the whole collection but that's Always the case with these kinds of chic, clean and simple bags.

I know the bag on the picture from the second-hand market.
I think it is not in the present collection but if you phone them they may create it for you, if they still have the necessary patterns to do it. At least that's how other French brands like Ateliers Renouard or Ateliers Charles et Charlus work.

If you're looking for this model in particular take a look on Vinted.com I saw it on the website not long ago.

Wow thank you so much for all of this information! I just sent them a message so hopefully they can work with me to get this dream bag together :)

Hi ladies so glad I found this thread! I was debating between getting a mini Deville/Eugenie1 in glaise/etoupe or rose gavalda (a pink leather from a few seasons ago, hope they still offer it, is very similar to H rose pourpre) VS LV Neverfull or Speedy B for my upcoming birthday. What do you suggest? Thanks

I would definitely email them! They're very helpful. I'm sure they could send you pictures of the bags and colors side by side! They offered to make me a custom bag, but I think it's a very expensive option. Another TPFer has her specifications added successfully if you read back a couple pages on the thread!

I personally would go for the Just Campagne! It really depends on your vision for your collection though, and the two bags have different merits. My Speedy B was the first bag in my collection, and I'm so glad I got it. I feel like LV is so essential to handbag collecting and everyone wants to scratch that itch and get a piece of the LV brand and history. Would you prefer that?
On the other hand, while you won't be getting brand recognition with Just Campagne, you'll be getting a bag of high quality leather, made by hand in France, and potentially customized, which other than the brand value of LV, is more worth the price than a canvas bag made en masse. It really depends which itch you want to scratch.

If you're unsure, it may be easier to buy the LV first, because if you change your mind you could return it (unused) or sell and get a greater percentage of your money back. I don't think people are able to sell their JC bags for a high price at all. Good luck!

Thanks a lot! I already own some pieces from LV, actually I am searching for an easy traveling/family weekends bag. I am an H girl at heart, totally in love with some of their bags but no funds here for their stuff apart scarves and silver and leather jewelry... Dream of their lovely colors and leather though [emoji7]

My custom Confort I is on its way and I’m excited to receive it. I asked them to take a picture and send it to me prior to mailing it. Here she is, I love it[emoji173]️
